A series of talks, events and workshops to accompany Everything Flows. Each event is intended to offer an insight into the creative process of the artists, illuminating the biomedical science behind the works in the exhibition, and providing an opportunity for audiences to find out more.

Stephen Mumford is currently Dean of the Faculty of Arts at The University of Nottingham and Professor of Metaphysics in the Department of Philosophy. Mumford is best known for his work in metaphysics on dispositions and laws, but has also made contributions in the philosophy of sport.  His books include Watching Sport: Aesthetics, Ethics and Emotions(2011).

Heather Corcoran is a curator, producer and consultant with a specialism in media art and technology. She is currently acting Deputy Director at Film and Video Umbrella, and was recently Curator at FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology), the UK’s leading centre for the production and exhibition of artists work in new media. She was contributing curator for the 2010 Liverpool Biennial, the 2009 and 2011 Abandon Normal Devices festivals, and has recently worked with the Barbican Centre in London, Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle and the Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Melbourne. Heather holds an MBA from Imperial College, London and a BFA from Ryerson University in Toronto.
