ANIMATE PROJECTS 2015-16

• Animate OPEN: Parts and Labour
Curated from an international call, for gallery, online and cinema exhibition. Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
• Move It
An animation exhibition initiative developing four new touring programmes, and connecting programmers, exhibitors, animators and audience across the UK. A  This Way Up Exhibition Innovation Fund supported project, a partner of the BFI Film  Audience Network. Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through  Arts Council England.
• Silent Signal
Six artist/scientist collaborations that explore the networked worlds of organic communication, with exhibitions, events and workshops galore. Supported by the Wellcome Trust and Garfield Weston Foundation.
• Drive
A new professional and practice development programme for artists and animators, supported by Jerwood Charitable Foundation and using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England
Animations for Into the Little Hill
Working with animators to develop ideas and new work to accompany a contemporary opera, in partnership with London Sinfonietta. Supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
 
Animate Projects are pleased to be partners on two other projects: working with Cast Iron Radio on their Wellcome Trust supported Body of Songs project, commissioning four artists to produce animations to accompany music tracks inspired parts of the body, and with susan pui san lok on RoCH Fans & Legends (commissioned by QUAD and the Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art (CfCCA) with the University of Salford).
