‘The Overseas Chinese Artists Invitational Exhibition’ has been officially hosted by the He Xiangning Art Museum annually since 2020. The museum is named after the eponymous modern Chinese woman artist, and has maintained a strong focus on overseas Chinese art as well as female artists.

The exhibition features susan pui san lok’s multichannel work, Lightness (2012), which was originally commissioned by Film and Video Umbrella for the 2012 exhibition Everything Flows at De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-sea.
