This weekend a special new partnership between Clyde Built Radio and Glasgow International creates GI Radio running from 12noon to 10pm, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th June, with a mix of interviews, sound art and music. Artists from across the programme are lined up for two days of broadcasting.
GI Radio kicks off with a special guest host slot from BBC and guerrilla broadcaster and writer Gemma Cairney at 12noon on Saturday where she explores GI with Richard Parry and artist Ana Mazzei and captures the sounds of Clyde Built Radio’s studio in the Barras.
Artists from across the programme are lined up for two days of broadcasting. Tune in to hear contributions from Sekai Machache, Aman Sandhu, Margaret Salmon, Leontios Toumpouris, Rosie’s Disobedient Press, D Graham Burnett, Stevie Knauss, Luke Fowler, Mathew Wayne Parkin, Graham Fagen, Maria Fusco, Ilana Halperin, Annie Crabtree, susan pui san lok, Susannah Stark, Danielle Valz Gen, Catalina Barroso-Luque, Andrew Black, Awuor Onyango and Plantainchipps for Black Curators Collective.
